2017 Chateau Tanunda The Chateau Bethanian Shiraz

Matured for 18 months in a mixture of new and seasoned French and American oak barrels. Pitch black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Wafting out of the glass are potent scents of dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate which intermingle with vanillin oak, earthy mocha and spice. Rich and voluptuous the palate is awash with lavish blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits which overshadow a back drop of lightly toasted vanillin oak, mocha, earth and spice. Silky smooth tannins. Superb power with a long, slick finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
