2017 Cillar Tempranillo

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice overlaid with dried clove are followed by some dried meats, smoky earth and spicy tobacco. Medium to full bodied black cherry and liquorice flavours have a strong overlay of dried clove and earthy tobacco with some spicy dried meat characters also apparent. The sturdy tannin structure shows some muscle and leads into a chewy medium length finish.
