JADV stands for Just A Dash of Viognier. Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice, plum and dark cherries are followed by vanillin earth like notes, a touch of meatiness and spicy pepper. Light in body as well as very pretty and fresh, the palate features a delicate flavour profile of spicy red cherries and red liquorice over earthy graphite, dried meat and pepper characters. Crunchy like acidity and light chalky tannins finishing very elegant and peppery.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red purple hue. Spicy plum and red liquorice aromas mix with hints of smoked meats, dried herbs and pepper. Lightly weighted the palate features bright red cherry and red plum fruits over subtle notions of red liquorice, dried herbs and pepper. Finishes fresh with plenty of energy, refined tannins and an elegant aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews…..
Just A Drop of Viognier. Or something like that. What a pleasure it is to taste through Craiglee wines.
Silky thing, medium weight, or just below, whiffs of spring flowers, rose petal, cherry, raspberry, garam masala spice. Fresh in the palate, lifted, pure-feeling red berry fruits but a lot of very spicy spice in there also. Rolls long, fine feeling, licked with kitten’s tongue tannins and a bright, blood orange finish. A huge delight. Pretty shiraz. Drink 2021-2032.
