2017 Domaine Barmes-Buecher Steingrubler Riesling Grand Cru

Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Elevated red apple, pear and honeysuckle aromas are followed by hints of lime, subtle oily toast and spice notes. Rich baked pear and apple flavours overlay traces of honeysuckle, oily toast like characters and lime. Finishes dry and spicy with crisp acidity. Currently in a transition stage it will continue to build on its waxy texture. Concludes medium to long and elegant.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
