The 2017 Brézé is an athletic lane of wine, going from the start gun to the finish line in one tram line. Citrus, pineapple and a reductive note with that salty edge you expect from this vineyard. There are some exotic fruits like lime and pineapple. Long and drawn out with harmony and balance. Drink 2023-2029.

The white wine from this iconic producer is often generous in style. The cooler 2017 vintage shows a typically rich, toasty nose, but the cooler 2017 vintage has resulted in palate structure that's firmer and more mineral-edged than this producer's often generous style. Concentration of honeyed melon fruit is balanced by brisk acidity and supported by savoury, mealy complexity. Long and lovely. Farmed using biodynamic principles. Drink 2024-2044.
