2017 Domaine Paul Pillot Bourgogne Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of pear, nectarine and faint dried honey combine with gun flint and biscuity oak over a stony mineral back drop. Very well rounded in the mouth, the elegant palate features expressive pear, dried honey and nectarine flavours which are interwoven with light cashew, biscuity nougat characters and a subtle stoniness. Clean dry finish with good freshness and a refined aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
