2017 Elgee Park Cuvee Brut

A blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir which has spent 40 months on lees. An exuberant mousse holds well over a pale straw coloured base that features a nimble and exceptionally fine bead. Elevated citrus and baked bread aromas meld into yeast lees, roasted almond and faint ginger notes. The vividly sculptured palate is shaped by crisp acidity which gives it a chiseled feel. Citrus and green apple flavours are to the fore with yeast lees and an oyster shell like minerality leading into a dry chalk tinged finish that’s both racy and tightly focused.
