2017 Grampians Estate Tempranillo

Matured in old oak for 12 months. Opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Liquorice, dark cherry and plum aromas sit over vanillin cedar and spicy dried herbs. Light to medium weight with a vibrant feel, bright dark cherry and liquorice fruits meld into earthy vanillin cedar and spicy dried herbs. Finishes dry with plenty of fresh acidity. Slightly chalky tannins with an aftertaste of bright red to dark fruits, subtle earth and spicy vanillin cedar. A bright youthful Tempranillo.
