This big, bold Barossa Shiraz is sourced from a single block high on the hill of the Hentley Farm Estate and sees maturation in French oak, 60% of which is new, for a period of 22 months.

Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep black dark red hue. Heady liquorice, blackberry and dark plum aromatics waft from the glass followed by vanillin cedar, faint hints of scorched earth, fennel and pepper. Mega rich and super concentrated, lavish blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits hit the palate with an explosive force. Dense and opulent in its mouthfeel, elements of blueberry, spicy vanillin cedar, subtle dark chocolate, fennel, faint earth and black pepper also chime in. Robust yet velvet like tannins and perfectly balanced fresh acidity provide ample structure. Extraordinary power and an epically long finish make this a tour de force in Barossa Shiraz.
