2017 Kaltern Kellerei Pinot Grigio

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted pear and red apple aromas meld into dried honey, a faint whiff of quince and spice. Excellent flavour intensity with a slippery, rounded and fullish textural feel, the palate features flavours of ripe pears and apples married to dried honey characters over some pebble stone like nuances and a touch of spice. Clean dry finish with balanced acidity and a medium to long aftertaste of spiced pear, red apples, dried honey and stony characters.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
