2017 Katnook Founder's Block Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Minty top notes overlay cherry and liquorice fruit with some lightly smoked vanillin cedar, earth and pepper also evident. Medium bodied and very elegant in its feel, mint infused flavours of plum and liquorice merge with gently smoked vanillin cedar and light pepper elements. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and a moderate aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
