2017 Mairena Malbec

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Nosing offers up spicy red currant and blueberry scents subtlety infused with dried herbs followed by some scorched earth and cedary tobacco like notes. Generous and silken upon entry the palate is decorated with ripe red currant and blueberry fruits which are infused with dried herbs over a scorched earth and spicy cedar back drop. Velvet like tannins concluding with a soft textured medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
