2017 Ninth Island Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red core with a light crimson red hue. Fragrant ripe red cherry and strawberry aromas are laced with hints of violets and anise followed by subtle spice end notes. Light in body weight, elegant flavours of spicy fresh red cherries and a touch of strawberry are trailed by traces of anise and earthy dried meat characters. Finishes dry with bright vibrant acidity and fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spiced red cherries, subtle strawberries, dried meats and light earth.
