2017 Peninsula Cadalso Garnacha

Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Potent red to dark raspberry and ripe cherry scents jump out of the glass followed by red liquorice, fresh herb, scorched earth and subtle spicy white pepper notes. Vibrant and juicy the palate is covered with delicious spicy red raspberry, red cherry and red liquorice fruits which are underscored by a burst of fresh acidity. Notions of peppered earth, graphite and fresh herb infusions flow onto the back half. Rustic yet integrated tannin structure with an energetic red fruited conclusion that’s laced with white pepper.
