2017 Pocketwatch by Robert Oatley Shiraz

Dual trophy winner at the Mudgee Wine Show. Totally opaque black dark purple core with a dark purple hue. Freshly crushed ripe berry aromas mingle with a hint of liquorice, aromatic herbs and light pepper. Rich, medium bodied and very savoury with a plush textural feel the palate dishes up juicy dark cherry and anise flavours with a back drop of dried herbs, incense infusions and pepper. Fresh vibrant acidity, velvet smooth tannins and a long juicy finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
