2017 Provenance Golden Plains Chardonnay

A well crafted, rich, weighty Chardonnay sourced from vineyards located in Ballarat, Henty and Geelong. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish highlights to the edges and a watery hue. Showing good intensity, scents of ripe nectarine, peach and honeycomb are to the fore overlaying light butterscotch, cashew and spicy nougat. Rich creamy textural feel with mouthfilling flavours of ripe peaches, honeycomb and traces of butterscotch sitting over a back drop of roasted nuts, nougat and spice. Finishes dry with good balanced acidity. Excellent depth with a long ripe peach, honeycomb, light butterscotch, cashew and spicy nougat aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
