2017 Radio Boka Tempranillo

A 100% Tempranillo sourced from 30+ year vines with a percentage of the wine aged in French oak barrels. Opaque dark purple black core with a bright purple hue. Fragrant crushed ripe dark cherry aromas intermix with hints of liquorice, earthy incense characters and subtle spicy herbs. The youthful medium weighted palate possesses a juicy mouthfeel with generous freshly crushed dark cherry and plum flavours to the fore. Also evident are infusions of earthy incense and spice. Bright finish with finely grained tannins and a medium to long conclusion of juicy dark cherries, plum, traces of liquorice, subtle earthy incense characters and spice.
