Matured in a combination of French and American oak for 15 months. Impenetrable black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Showing good elevation inky dark cherry aromas intermix with dark plum and liquorice over a back drop of spicy vanillin cedar. Delivering plenty of bang for your buck, the palate possesses impressive size and richness for a modest price. Juicy ripe dark cherry, dark plum and inky liquorice flavours meld into toasty vanillin oak finishing with a lick of spice and youthful acidity. Very finely grained tannins concluding with a medium length aftertaste.
