2017 Sandalford Chardonnay

Unoaked this Chardonnay displays a brilliant very pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals aromas of melon, citrus and a hint of grapefruit with light mineral end notes. Citrus fruits, green apple and melon dominate the elegant palate finishing dry with crisp acidity and a lick of spice. Moderate aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
