2017 Santa Sofia Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore

Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Spicy morello and dried cherry aromas mix with liquorice, vanillin cedar and earthy dried herb notes. Rich morello cherry, liquorice and dried cherry fruits overlay earth, spicy vanilla and dried herb elements. Fleshy feel finishing with slightly dryish but fine grained tannins and a ripe savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
