2017 Tornatore Etna Rosso

A blend of 95% Nerello Mascalese and 5% Nerello Cappuccio. Semi translucent dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Fragrant red currant and red raspberry scents infused with fresh herbs are trailed by stony earth like notes, hints of graphite and spice. Vibrant red cherry and raspberry fruits have a crunchy feel underpinned by crisp acidity. Elements of crushed rock, earthy graphite and spicy dried herbs lie underneath. Bright, tense finish with gritty tannins leading into a fresh, robust aftertaste.
