2018 Apsley Gorge Vineyard Chardonnay

Bright straw colour with a glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense ripe peach, apricot and honeycomb scents mix with lemon butter, toast and spice. Exceptionally rich, round and creamy in texture with some heat shading the finish, luscious peach, honeycomb and toast flavours create a mouth filling effect. Elements of crème brulee, light butterscotch, subtle roasted almond and spice sit in the background. Magnificent power and concentration finishing dry with balanced acidity. Long decadently textured aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
