2018 Ata Rangi Crimson Pinot Noir

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Pronounced dark cherry and anise aromas show ample intensity out of the glass followed by hints of strawberry, dusty cedar, forest floor and spicy herbs. Light to medium weight, dark cherry, plum and anise flavours decorate the palate underscored by elements of dried meats, forest floor and spicy herbs. Finishes with a nicely balanced freshness, slightly chalky tannins and a savoury aftertaste.

There’s so much to this wine. It is a pinot that really speaks of quality tannin, fresh and quite concentrated fruit flavors and a layered, succulent, fleshy and rich, dark-cherry finish. One of the best value wines on the planet, hands down! Drink now. Screw cap.
