2018 Atlas Adelaide Hills Chardonnay

Fermented wild in a combination of French oak puncheons and hogsheads then lees stirred for 9 months. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a distinctive tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of peach, ripe melon and spice are married to dried honey and citrus notes. Medium bodied the palate has fleshy nectarine, peach and dried honey flavours over subtle biscuity oak and citrusy nougat characters. Finishes dry with good freshness and a gentle creaminess on the medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
