2018 Blicks Lane Sauvignon Blanc

Now certified organic this new release of Blicks Lane also comes packaged with a smart new look. First planted in 1996 the Blicks Lane vineyard lies in the acclaimed Rapaura sub-region of the Wairau Valley.

Brilliant water like colour with a faint tinge of green around the outskirts. Aromas of herbaceous gooseberries intermix with passionfruit, green apple and lime followed by some grassy herb like end notes. Light, fresh and elegant with a zippy feel the palate has a mix of herbaceous gooseberry, light passionfruit and lime flavours over some grassy minerality. Dry, crisp finish with an aftertaste of passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberries, lime, grassy characters and mineral.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
