2018 Caliterra Tributo Carmenere

Impenetrable black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Elevated scents of blackberry, cassis and spicy tobacco stream out of the glass with earthy black olive and dried herb notes also evident. Medium bodied with a smooth entry and mid palate feel, rich blackcurrant fruits meld into cedary tobacco characters, earth and spicy dried herbs. Well integrated finely meshed tannins with some bell pepper characters making an appearance on the savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
