2018 Chateau Mont-Redon Lirac

Totally opaque midnight black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Fragrant dark to black raspberry and liquorice scents blossom from the glass mixing with herbs du Provence, scorched earth, dried meat and pepper along the way. Rich succulent black raspberry, dark cherry and liquorice fruits flood the mouth with notions of incense, scorched earth, herbs du Provence and black pepper lying underneath. Slightly meaty finish with gently chewy tannins and a lasting aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
