2018 Cloudy Bay Te Wahi Pinot Noir

Deep dark red core with black shaded edges and a red to brick red hue. Lifted violet aromas mix with spicy dark to black cherry and anise followed by some dark plum, toasty vanillin cedar, earth and dried herb notes. Light to medium bodied with a savoury feel the palate shows good flesh, depth and richness with spicy dark cherry, ripe blackberry and anise flavours overlaying a dried herb, toasty vanillin cedar and subtle earth back drop. Well integrated velvet like tannin structure with a long refined conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
