2018 Crawford River Cabernet Sauvignon
Other Reviews....
Such a dry, elongated style. This sits distinctly in the 'more length than breadth' category. Pencils, boysenberry and redcurrant flavours are seamlessly infused with fragrant and woodsy herb notes. Tannin presents as a firm, taut web through the finish, strong and fine at once. It's a mouth-watering rendition of cabernet, and a very good one at that. Drink 2025 - 2034.

Lots of love and patience to make this wine.
Succulent yet deep red. Supple tannins, cool minty refrain in dark cherry, cassis, lavender, violets and liquorice going on. Smooth ride, so so satiny, lush yet controlled and finds its groove so easily. Such a delight to drink, complex fruit characters doing fruit flavours, spice, judicious seasoning, tannin, acid all so well. Really impressive and in 2018 a little extra bandwidth and generosity perhaps. Oh so delightful. Cellar long or drink now. Superb. Drink 2023 - 2035+
