2018 Dandelion Vineyards Damsel of the Barossa Merlot

Matured in older French oak barriques for 10 months. Dense black core with a deep dark red black hue. Blossoming from the glass are ripe blackcurrant and plum aromatics which have a gentle bay leaf overlay. Spicy vanillin cedar, liquorice and light earth notes ensue. Medium to full bodied, rich blackcurrant and plum fruits have a velvety feel with some ripe mulberry, vanillin cedar, dried herb and subtle spicy earth elements in the background. Very smooth tannins concluding long, plush and sumptuous.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
