Youthful opaque black dark purple colour with a bright purple hue. Nosing offers up scents of blueberry and dark cherries followed by some vanillin cedar, light earth and faint fresh herb notes. Medium bodied, juicy blueberry and dark cherry fruits are underpinned by bright acidity. Red liquorice, plum, vanillin cedar, subtle earth and spicy pepper elements are also evident. Finishes fresh with sturdy, slightly drying tannins and a burst of juicy red and blue fruits on the long aftertaste.

Other Reviews…
From the celebrated '18 vintage, one of the great years in the Hunter Valley over the past 50. The colour is brilliant crimson, the bouquet and palate present endless portraits of shiraz, but in a calm, measured way. Red, blue, purple and black fruits - they are all here. Drink by 2040.
