2018 Deviation Road Loftia Vintage Brut

A blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir. A fluffy white mousse shows good staying power over a pale straw coloured base that has pale gold tinged edges. Showing excellent persistence is a very fine bead. Intense aromatics of pear, baked bread, yeast lees and oily toast like notes are followed by hints of dried honey and brioche. Generous creamy textured flavours of baked bread, pear and yeast lees overlay citrus and a subtle oily brioche and dried honey like character. Vivid acidity finishing dry, vivid and quite long.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
