2018 Domaine Etienne Sauzet Bourgogne Blanc
Other Reviews....
A very fresh and pretty nose combines notes of pear, apple and citrus where the latter element is also present on the racy, intense and lightly stony flavors that conclude in a bitter lemon-inflected finish. This is a quality Bourgogne and worth checking out plus it will age.

Sauzet's 2018 Bourgogne Blanc has turned out well, revealing aromas of citrus oil, fresh peach and nuts. Medium-bodied, open-knit and succulent, it's a lively but easygoing white that's already drinking well.

The 2018 Bourgogne Blanc comes from four parcels. It has a pretty nose of green apples and hints of lime, all nicely defined. The palate is crisp and taut on the entry with a sharp line of citric acidity and a twist of bitter lemon on the slightly abrupt finish.

Clear bright colour, lovely fresh apple nose, some prettily ripe aromatics reappearing at the back, almond blossom, intriguing and delicious.
