2018 Domaine Serene Yamhill Cuvee Pinot Noir

Domaine Serene’s Yamhill Cuvee is sourced from the Oregon sub districts Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, and Yamhill-Carlton and is matured for 15 months in French oak, 45% new.
Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Intoxicating the olfactory senses is a perfumed aromatic profile of violets, dark cherries, ripe strawberries and anise. Notions of vanillin cedar, subtlety scorched earth and spice ensue. Rich and powerful the palate is saturated with dark to black cherry, plum and anise flavours. Ripe strawberry, toasty oak, earth and spice elements linger on the back half. Ripe and supple with silky smooth tannins and a long expansive finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
