2018 Grandeur Wellington Gen 69 Shiraz

Matured for 18 months in new and used French and American oak. Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Lifted ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas are complimented by hints of blueberry, vanillin cedar and faint spicy mocha notes. Full bodied the palate features a rich opulent flavour profile of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark plums with vanillin cedar, earthy mocha and spice characters on the back half. Finishes with a lick of blueberry freshness, polished yet structured tannins and a long lush aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
