2018 Il Carpino Exordium Friulano

Fermented in a cement egg. Bright yellow straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of lemon and green apple drift out of the glass with a wet slate overlay followed by some dried pear and minerally saline like notes. Full, expressive and vibrant all at once, the palate carries pear and dried apple skin flavours over an almond and saline like back drop. Texturally voluminous yet frisky and mineral laced it finishes dry with a long, energetic salted almond like aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
