2018 Jones Road Pinot Gris

Wild yeast fermented and seasoned French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinged outskirts and a watery hue. Sailing out of the glass is a mix of ripe pear, apple and dried honey scents followed by some musk and subtle cinnamon spice notes. Texturally full yet also retaining plenty of freshness are ripe pear and red apple fruits. Also chiming in are notions of honeysuckle and spice. Finishes dry with a burst of citrusy acidity and a mid length aftertaste.
