2018 Knight Granite Hills Shiraz

Made from 47 year old vines with maturation taking place primarily in French oak hogsheads. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing evokes aromas of blackberry and liquorice followed by vanillin cedar, scorched earth, hints of mocha, leather and blackpepper. Medium to full in body, blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits are featured over scorched earth, vanillin cedar, leather and peppered meat like characters. Fine grained tannins with bright acidity lending a slightly angular feel to the medium length conclusion
