2018 Langmeil High Road Chardonnay

Barrel fermented and then matured for 7 months in a mix of 36% new French oak and 32% third fill French oak whilst the balance (32%) was left unwooded. Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Ripe peach, nectarine and subtle dried honey aromas end with some melon and spice. Ripe juicy peach and nectarine fruits show good concentration with subtle characters of dried honey, melon and spice also evident. Fullish mouthfeel with a bite of fresh acidity on the finish and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
