2018 Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard Shiraz

Midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted smoky liquorice and black cherry aromas emante from the glass with notions of black olive, dried meats and blackpepper also evident. Rich liquorice and black cherry fruits drive the medium to full bodied palate with some smoked meat, vanillin cedar, fennel and blackpepper characters adding complexity on the back half. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins with a long generously packed aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
