2018 Napa Cellars Pinot Noir

Matured in 39% new French oak. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Lifted ripe dark cherry, dark plum and liquorice aromas fill the nostrils followed by some toasty oak, light earth and vanillin spice. Rich and fleshy the mid weighted palate is flush with ripe dark cherry and plum fruit. Notions of liquorice, vanillin cedar, earth and spice ensue. Polished tannins with a ripe generous aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
