2018 Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy Terre de Maimbray Sancerre

Pascal Reverdy’s domaine is based in the tiny hamlet of Maimbray. Maimbray is located in a valley surrounded by chalk hills adjacent to Chavignol and Verdigny. From their small cellar they produce one of France’s most highly awarded Sancerres’.
Brilliant water like colour with a light tinge of green around the outskirts. Intense lime top notes are followed by green apple, subtle fresh herb infusions, some grassy asparagus characters and wet stone. Refreshing lime, green apple and subtle citrusy passionfruit flavours have a racy feel over a back drop of fresh herb infusions, wet stone and a light grassiness. Finishes dry with zippy acidity and a mouth watering lime driven aftertaste.
