2018 Rusty Mutt Original Shiraz

Dense inky black heart with a very deep black dark red hue. Intense ripe blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromas dominate the nose with spicy vanillin cedar, scorched earth and blackpepper notes also evident. Rich and bold the full bodied palate is layered with lush blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits which have an inky yet opulent feel. Ripe chewy tannins compliment the concentration and power of the wine with vanillin oak, subtle scorched earth and blackpepper elements also present. Concludes long and expansive with a deep core of opulent fruit that has a robust feel.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
