2018 Soumah Nebbiolo Barbera

Fruit was sourced from the Yarra Valley and King Valley. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Nosing offers up ripe red cherry, red currant and light red liquorice aromas followed by subtle earth, dried and spice notes. Light in body the palate has a savoury flavour profile of red cherries and red currants over earth, dried herbs and spice. Fine grained tannins and vibrant acidity lead into a slightly dryish aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
