2018 Triacca Sassella Riserva Valtellina Superiore

Nebbiolo aged in large and small oak barrels for 24 months. Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a light red to brick red hue. Aromas of dark raspberry and red liquorice mix with scorched earth, vanillin spice and dried herb notes. Spicy raspberry and red liquorice fruits infused with a mix of earth and dried herbs decorate the light to medium bodied palate. Leathery tannins with a dry, elegant finish that’s both rustic and earthy.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
