2018 Willakenzie Estate Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak, 60% new, for a period of 17 months. Deep dark red core with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Pronounced ripe dark plum, black cherry and anise aromas are interwoven with toasty vanillin cedar, earth and spicy violet like end notes. Rich black cherry, dark plum and liquorice fruits swamp the mouth with subtlety toasted vanillin cedar and spicy earth characters lying underneath. Opulent feel with velvety yet sturdy tannins finishing medium to long, lush and generously fruited.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
