2018 Yarra Edge Premium Chardonnay

Aged for 10 months in 30% new French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose features aromas of white peaches, nectarines and dried honey laced with notions of gun flint, biscuity oak and spice. Medium bodied with an elegant creaminess to the mouthfeel, the palate has a refined flavour profile of fleshy white peaches, ripe nectarines and dried honey over subtle cashew, nougat and spice. Excellent length with a long persistent aftertaste.
