2019 Allegrini Corte Giara Pinot Grigio

The Corte Giara range is an offspring of the famous Allegrini family in the Valpolicella region. Together with a few select winegrowers, they created a concept centred around modern and eclectic wines, representing great value for money, with international varietals through to Amarone, Recioto and other classic wines of the Veneto region.
Bright pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of pears and red apples have a subtle honeysuckle overlay followed by some citrus and spice notes. Light and possessing ample freshness the palate is decorated with pear and red apple fruits. Some citrusy honeysuckle and spice characters then chime in on the back half. Nicely rounded mouthfeel finishing dry with brisk acidity and a savoury aftertaste.
