2019 Babich Sauvignon Blanc

Made in a riper style, Babich's entry level Sauvignon Blanc always delivers terrific value. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a light tinge of green to the edges and a watery hue. On the nose ripe gooseberry and passionfruit scents intermix with subtle herbaceous grassy characters, a hint of asparagus and citrus. Showing plenty of intensity are vibrant flavours of gooseberries, passionfruit and citrus over a herbaceous grassy backdrop. Finishes dry and crisp with zingy acidity and a refreshing aftertaste.
