2019 Briar Ridge Old Vines Shiraz

Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced aniseed top notes mix with ripe dark plum, leather, vanillin cedar, dried meats and peppered earth. Rich and fleshy the palate features ripe spicy dark plum and liquorice fruits over a back drop of scorched earth, vanillin cedar and peppered meats. Ripe but chewy tannins with a slightly meaty mouth feel. Long generously fruited conclusion with a touch of leather emerging.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
